Brief Bio of Mark Haden

* Began working for Alcohol and Drug Programs in 1984 * Currently works for the Vancouver Coastal Health * Has worked in Detox, Methadone and Out Patient settings in counselling, supervisory and management roles. * Has published on the issue of drug policy in the Canadian Journal of Public Health, and the International Journal of Drug Policy. * Was involved in producing the Health Officers Council Paper on the Regulation of illegal drugs in 2005. * Currently supervises the Addictions staff at the Pacific Spirit Community Health Centre. * Provides public education on drugs and drug policy. * Is a parent with two children and an active member of the Vancouver outdoor recreation community.
